Why belong here
Saint Luke in Cuthbert is a small but active Glenmary mission church that serves Catholics in a rural, historically under-served part of Southwest Georgia. Parishioners and visitors can worship together at the weekly Saturday Vigil Mass, receive the sacrament of Confession before Mass, and — if they are students, faculty, or staff at Andrew College in Cuthbert — connect with the parish's Newman-style campus ministry led out of the parish office. The community is part of Glenmary's broader mission to those spiritually and materially in need, making it a welcoming place for anyone seeking a rural Catholic family rooted in outreach and prayer.

Glenmary Mission & Outreach
Saint Luke is part of Glenmary Home Missioners' mission to rural America. As Glenmary notes, much of the work happens off the church property — in neighborhoods, community centers, nursing homes, and community meetings. The Cuthbert and Blakely cluster has been joined by Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna from Kenya, who collaborate with Deacon Scott Watford, Father Mike Kerin, and Glenmary Brothers Jason Muhlenkamp and Levis Kuwa on outreach and home visitations.
