St. Clement Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic community in the Diocese of Evansville, Indiana, formed on July 1, 2014 by the merger of historic St. Clement Parish in Boonville with St. Rupert Parish in Red Brush (Newburgh mailing address). Geographically it covers more than 250 square miles of Warrick County, serving the people of Boonville, Newburgh, Yankeetown, Richland, Chandler, Lynnville, Tennyson and Hatfield. Worship is offered at two churches — St. Clement on East Sycamore Street in Boonville and St. Rupert on West Red Brush Road in Newburgh — under the pastoral care of Father Jack Durchholz, with two deacons and a full staff of lay ministry and music leaders.

About St. Clement Catholic Parish
St. Clement Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic community in the Diocese of Evansville serving the people of Boonville, Newburgh, Yankeetown, Richland, Chandler, Lynnville, Tennyson and Hatfield in Warrick County. Formed in 2014 by the merger of two long-standing parishes, it now operates as a single parish with two worship sites: St. Clement Church on East Sycamore Street in Boonville and St. Rupert Church on West Red Brush Road in Newburgh. The parish mission statement describes it as an active Catholic community bonded in Jesus Christ through baptism and called to spread the Gospel through education, worship, ministry and social interaction.

History
The two churches that make up today's parish both date to the nineteenth century. St. Rupert was established in 1865 when Benedictine missionaries from the area began serving the small Catholic community around Yankeetown; the original 40-by-26-foot frame church was blessed on January 2, 1866 by Rev. Chrysostome Foffa, O.S.B. St. Clement was established in 1880 in Boonville itself and served the county-seat community for more than a century, dedicating a new church building in 2010. On July 1, 2014 the Diocese of Evansville formally merged the two parishes into a single new St. Clement Parish, with the rural St. Rupert church retained as a second worship site.

St. Clement Church — Boonville
St. Clement Church sits at 422 E. Sycamore Street, Boonville, Indiana 47601. The parish dedicated a new church on this site in 2010, replacing the original 1880-era worship space. St. Clement is the parish's larger, downtown worship site and hosts the Saturday Vigil, the Sunday 10:30 am Mass, and most weekday Masses.

St. Rupert Church — Red Brush / Newburgh
St. Rupert Church is a historic 1865 country church nestled in the wooded countryside near Pigeon Creek at 1244 W. Red Brush Road, Newburgh, Indiana 47630 (Red Brush community). Originally a 40-by-26-foot frame building blessed in January 1866, it was later enlarged by Rev. J. W. Book and remains in regular use as a second worship site within the merged St. Clement Parish.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
Faith formation at St. Clement Parish is organized through the Director of Religious Education (Katie Vollmer) and two CREs — Leslie Keys for the Sacraments track and Janet Hirsch for Grades 7–12. The parish welcomes new parishioners through a registration form and welcomes adults interested in becoming Catholic through the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) process. Music & Liturgy
Music is coordinated across both worship sites by Judy McNeely, with Debbie Pounds as organist at St. Rupert, Melanie Seibert as organist at St. Clement, and Kristin Maurer Brenner as pianist. Sacraments & Devotions
Sacramental preparation for Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation is coordinated through the parish's CRE for Sacraments. Adults seeking full initiation into the Catholic Church are invited to the OCIA process. The parish also accepts prayer requests through the office (call 812-897-4653 or email [email protected]), which are added to the community's prayers.

Visiting & Contact
New parishioners and visitors are always welcome. The parish office is open 8:30 am–12:30 pm and 1:30–4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 am–12:30 pm on Fridays. The office is closed on major holidays and when local schools are cancelled for bad weather; planned closings are announced in the bulletin. In severe weather, parish services follow Warrick County school closures.
