Why belong here

Saint Clare of Assisi offers a young, vibrant Catholic community rooted in reverent liturgy and warm hospitality, with three Sunday Masses (including an early 7:30 a.m.) that suit families, commuters, and seasonal residents alike. The parish pairs a strong formation program — directed by separate directors of adult, youth, and child formation — with daily Mass Monday through Thursday, Adoration, Confession three days a week, and seasonal devotions such as the Wednesday evening Mass (September–May) and First Friday Masses. Set within Daniel Island across from Bishop England High School, it serves as a neighborly hub where newcomers and long-time Lowcountry Catholics can grow in holiness through its mission of hospitality, prayer and worship, formation, and service.
