About Saint Camillus de Lellis (Holy Spirit Parish) · New Castle, Pennsylvania
Saint Camillus de Lellis is the Catholic church in the Neshannock Township section of New Castle, Pennsylvania, and one of seven worship sites of Holy Spirit Parish of Lawrence County. The parish was formed on July 1, 2019, when Bishop David Zubik merged seven historic Lawrence County parishes (St. Joseph the Worker, Mary Mother of Hope, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Vitus, St. Camillus, Christ the King, and St. James the Apostle) into a single family of faith under the Diocese of Pittsburgh's "On Mission for The Church Alive!" initiative. The St. Camillus church building was erected in 1959 and formally dedicated on September 21, 1962. Today Holy Spirit Parish, pastored by Father Benjamin E.
