Our Patron Saint
Saint Isidore the Farmer, born around 1070 and died in 1130, is the patron saint of farmers, Madrid, Spain, and the National Catholic Rural Life Conference. He spent his life working in the fields of a wealthy landowner, rising early for Mass and communing with God throughout the day. Known for his charity, he often fed the hungry from his humble home, even sacrificing his own meals. He was canonized in 1622 and is celebrated for his love of animals and numerous miracles attributed to him.
