Sacred Heart Parish in Verona, Missouri, is a vibrant Catholic community rooted in the Eucharist and God's Word. Founded by German-Bohemian immigrants in 1874 and served originally by Benedictine priests from Conception Abbey, the parish has grown into a bilingual faith family offering Mass in English and Spanish. Under the leadership of Rev. Rahab Isidor, Sacred Heart welcomes parishioners through worship, faith formation, and outreach ministries such as PSR, OCIA, and the Knights of Columbus.

History and Heritage
From its 1874 founding by German-Bohemian immigrants to the dedication of the present church in 1900, Sacred Heart has been a cornerstone of Catholic life in Verona. The parish museum and cemetery continue to honor the legacy of early settlers.
Hispanic Ministry
Hispanic ministry began in 1991, and a Spanish Mass has been offered every Saturday since 1995. Cordi-Marian sisters have served the Catholic Hispanic communities in Verona and surrounding towns since 1997.
Faith Formation and Groups
The parish offers the Parish School of Religion (PSR), OCIA, Quinceañera preparation, liturgical ministries, stewardship, and the Knights of Columbus.
