Sacred Heart Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic community serving Troy, Missouri, in Lincoln County, and belongs to the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Parish School of Religion (PSR)
The Parish School of Religion provides religious education to parish children, taught by active parish members with the goal of strengthening each child's understanding of the Catholic faith and helping them build a stronger relationship with God. Classes meet most Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm. Children preparing for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation must complete two consecutive years of PSR before receiving their sacraments. Registration packets and calendars are posted each year on the parish website.

Youth Ministry (Life Teen)
Sacred Heart Youth Ministry exists 'to create a community where young people authentically encounter Christ to be formed as a disciple.' It invites, nurtures, challenges, and empowers the youth of the parish to be active in and committed to their Catholic faith through spiritual, service, and social activities connected to the parish and the wider community. The Life Teen High School Ministry program is open to all students in grades 9–12 and meets most Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The parish also takes teens in grades 8–12 to the Steubenville Youth Conference, a high-energy weekend featuring Catholic speakers, daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, praise and worship, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Young adults and parents may apply to join the Adult Core and Support Team.

RCIA — Becoming Catholic
The parish offers the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) for adults who are interested in learning more about Catholicism or becoming Catholic, as well as for already-baptized Catholics seeking to complete their sacraments of initiation. Sacred Heart Catholic School (K-8)
Sacred Heart School, located at 110 Thompson Drive on the parish campus, is a Catholic elementary school serving students in kindergarten through grade 8. The school promotes the intellectual, spiritual, moral, social, and emotional development of its students and offers a range of extracurricular activities including volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field, as well as special-interest clubs and community-service projects. The school's facilities include a science lab and a computer room, and the community is described as 'more than just an educational institution — a thriving community of over 30 dedicated staff members, 250 students in our K-8 program, and 67 enthusiastic learners in our Pre-K program.'

Sacred Heart Preschool
Sacred Heart Preschool is a faith community of parents, teachers, administrators, and students whose purpose is to deepen faith and prepare children for their future. Classes are offered for children who are three or four years old on or before July 31 of the school year. Program options include full-time (M–F) and part-time (M/W/F or T/Th) schedules for both three- and four-year-olds. Classes are limited to 20 children with two teachers per classroom and include a school-provided lunch and afternoon snack.

Baptism & Sacramental Preparation
Parents preparing for a child's Baptism at Sacred Heart attend a Baptism Class taught by Deacon Bernie Buckmann, typically held in the Sacred Heart Room on the parish campus. Baptisms are commonly celebrated after the 10:00 am Sunday Mass. Older children preparing for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation go through the Parish School of Religion program and must complete two consecutive years of PSR before receiving these sacraments.
