History
The parish has a long history in Tampa, with missionary roots extending to Key West. Jesuit priests and brothers served from 1888 until 2005. On July 15, 2005—the Feast of St. Bonaventure—the parish was entrusted to the Franciscan Friars of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
