Sacred Heart Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish in Sherwood, Wisconsin, part of the Diocese of Green Bay. It forms one site of the combined St. John–Sacred Heart Parish and is a founding member of the Tri-Parish Catholic Faith Communities, which also includes St. Mary of the Seven Dolors in Stockbridge and St. Mary Help of Christians in Hilbert. Tri-Parish Catholic Faith Communities
Sacred Heart is one of three parishes that make up the Tri-Parish Catholic Faith Communities in Calumet County. According to pastor Rev. Michael E. Betley, the three parishes — St. John–Sacred Heart (Sherwood/St. John), St. Mary of the Seven Dolors (Stockbridge), and St. Mary Help of Christians (Hilbert) — share liturgical services, faith formation, youth ministry, and outreach so that they can sustain vibrant Catholic life in their small rural communities. The cluster's stated mission is 'Drawing all people into Christ.'

Parish History & Architecture
Sacred Heart is one of the older Catholic communities in Calumet County. The historic brick church at N349 Military Road was built in 1886 and was expanded in 1904. The Wisconsin Historical Society documents the building as an Early Gothic Revival cream-brick church with a distinctive entrance tower featuring a pavilion roof, pointed-arch windows, and a pointed-arch entrance. A 2010 survey update noted that the main (east-facing) facade has been rebuilt and additional wings added on the south and north sides. The parish and its companion mission, St. John the Baptist, eventually joined with two nearby parishes to form today's Tri-Parish Catholic Faith Communities.

Faith Formation & Sacraments
Lifelong faith formation is one of the four pillars of the Tri-Parish, alongside worship, discipleship, and outreach. Sacramental preparation follows the usual diocesan pattern: First Reconciliation in second grade, First Holy Communion the following season, and Confirmation preparation beginning in the freshman year of high school with confirmation celebrated in the fall of the junior year.

Youth Ministry & Summer Camp
A Tri-Parish Youth Faith Formation Coordinator oversees youth ministry across all three parishes. Activities include summer camp opportunities and ongoing youth formation. The parish encourages young people to encounter Christ through prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship.

Outreach & Community Life
Generous outreach is one of the four commitments named by the pastor. The parish coordinates regular food-collection drives for the Pillars Dinner and hosts annual community gatherings such as the Parish Picnic at the St. John–Sacred Heart site, the Fall Festival at St. Mary of the Seven Dolors, and the Spaghetti Dinner at St. Mary Help of Christians.
