Sacred Heart Parish in Selden, Kansas, was founded in 1906 to serve a growing Catholic community that had previously attended Immaculate Conception Parish in Leoville. The parish church was completed in 1906 and blessed in June 1907; it was later expanded and remodeled in 1930. The parish acquired a former implement dealership building in 1961 to serve as a parish hall and religious education center. The current pastor is Fr. Mathew Chacko, based in Salina, KS. The parish offers Mass, confession, and other ministries in English, with services held on Saturday and Wednesday.
