History
Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church was established on January 9, 1883. Key milestones include land donation in 1870, church and rectory burned in 1886, construction of the second church in 1902, the current church in 1954, and the One Heart Building in 2023. The parish also operates St. Cecilia School, which opened in 1909 as a convent school and became a K-12 institution in 1922.
