Founded in 1882, Sacred Heart Parish is one of the oldest Catholic congregations in the Floresville area and traces its roots to the frontier Catholic presence in Wilson County. Its centennial history, compiled by William F. Powers and catalogued by the University of Notre Dame (Hesburgh Library, BX 4603 .F568 S337 1982), records 100 years of parish life from 1882 to 1982 and remains the principal published source on the parish's early decades.

Faith Formation & OCIA (RCIA)
