Resurrection Catholic Church (also known as Resurrection Parish) is a bilingual Catholic parish in the western part of Santa Rosa, California, in the Diocese of Santa Rosa in California. Founded in 1967 when 932 families were split off from the nearby St. Rose of Lima Parish, the parish serves both English- and Spanish-speaking Catholics at 303 Stony Point Road. It offers daily Mass, multiple Sunday Masses in both languages, RCIA/OCIA, religious education for grades 1–8, a Confirmation program, a youth group called Indeleble Youth, and a partnership with Catholic Charities of Northwest California and a local St. Vincent de Paul chapter. The parish is led today by pastor Fr. Aaron De Peyster and associate pastor Fr. Eliseo Avendaño, supported by a small staff of lay employees.

History
Resurrection Parish was established in 1967 when 932 families were transferred from St. Rose of Lima Parish to form a new 'daughter' parish serving western Santa Rosa. The split came during the pastorate of Monsignor Walter J. Tappe, who served simultaneously as Vicar General of the newly created Diocese of Santa Rosa (erected in 1962). Monsignor Tappe's prominence — including his selection as one of 98 global Pastor/Observers at the Second Vatican Council and a private Mass with Pope Paul VI at St. Peter's Basilica — gave the founding of Resurrection a connection to the wider Church during one of its most transformative decades.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
The parish runs religious education for children in grades 1–8 in both English and Spanish, led by Dan Kranstover and Stella Agudelo. Registration requires a child's Baptism certificate and an $80 donation. The program is supplemented by access to FORMED for Catholic content at home.

Youth Ministry — Indeleble Youth
The parish's youth ministry is branded 'Indeleble Youth' and serves teenagers ages 13–17 with a mix of dynamic sessions, themes, and live music. The group meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and a parallel Spanish-language program called Grupo de Adolescentes runs alongside it. Indeleble Youth maintains its own social media presence on Facebook and Instagram.

OCIA / RCIA — Becoming Catholic
Now formally called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA, formerly RCIA), this process welcomes adults who want to learn about the Catholic faith or become members of the Church. It serves unbaptized adults preparing for Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist; baptized Christians preparing for full communion; and uncatechized Catholics preparing for Confirmation.

Sacraments
Resurrection prepares parishioners for the sacraments of initiation, healing, and vocation, with bilingual support for many of its programs.

Baptism Preparation
Baptism Preparation is a ministry established for parents and godparents of young children (ages 0–6). It covers the history of Baptism, the symbolism used during the rite, and practical ways to carry the sacrament into daily family life.

- Required documents: child's birth certificate, proof of class attendance, completed registration form, $50 donation
- Godparent requirements: at least 16 years old, baptized and confirmed Catholic, practicing the faith, and (if married) married in the Church

Outreach & Charity
Resurrection connects parishioners to concrete service to those in need, both through a local St. Vincent de Paul chapter and by serving as a donation drop-off site for Catholic Charities of Northwest California.
