History
Resurrection of Our Lord was founded in 1963 in New Orleans East and is listed in the Archdiocese of New Orleans's official register of parishes as 'Founded in 1963.' In 1964, the parish established Resurrection of Our Lord School to provide Catholic education to local families — a mission that continues today. The school and parish share the same Catholic identity, with the school motto of '…a Christ centered family' describing the broader parish culture as well.

Mass, Sacraments & Devotions
