History of Queen of Angels Church

Founded in 1972, Queen of Angels Church was established to serve the growing Catholic population in Lompoc. It was led by its first pastor, Msgr. Michael J. Ryan, and has since been guided by a succession of priests and administrators, including Msgr. Andrew McGrath, Fr. Donal Mulcahy, and Fr. Paschal Hardy. The parish has developed a strong community presence through ministries, cultural events like the Harvest Festival, and outreach programs such as Feed the Hungry and the Divine Mercy Hour.

Ministries

Queen of Angels offers a wide range of ministries to support parishioners in their spiritual journey. These include Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Choir, Feed the Hungry, Prayer Chain, Couples For Christ, Bible Study, and Sacristans.
