Religious Education & Faith Formation
Religious education at St. George spans Pre-K through adult, supporting the spiritual growth of the entire Patrick SFB community. Classes for children in Pre-K through 8th grade meet Sunday mornings from 10:00–11:30 AM, August through May, in the Youth Center near South Patrick Chapel. High school youth in grades 9–12 gather Sunday afternoons from 1:30–3:30 PM at South Patrick Chapel. The parish also offers RCIA for adults seeking initiation into the Catholic Church, sacramental preparation sessions for the sacraments of initiation, and seasonal opportunities for adult enrichment, Vacation Bible School in the summer, and retreats or parish missions throughout the year.

Parish Life & Fellowship
Beyond the Mass schedule, the parish cultivates Catholic fellowship and spiritual life through groups that bring members together throughout the year. Outreach & Service
Putting Catholic social teaching into practice is a central part of St. George Catholic Community's identity. Base & Installation Context
Patrick Space Force Base sits on a barrier island between Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach in Brevard County, Florida, and is home to Space Launch Delta 45 (formerly the 45th Space Wing), which operates Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and the Eastern Range. Originally commissioned as Naval Air Station Banana River on 1 October 1940, the installation was deactivated after World War II, transferred to the U.S. Air Force in 1948, and renamed Patrick Air Force Base in August 1950 in honor of Major General Mason Patrick. It was redesignated Patrick Space Force Base on 9 December 2020 in a ceremony led by Vice President Mike Pence, becoming one of the first two installations of the new U.S. Space Force. St. George Catholic Community has served the base across these transitions — Air Force, joint, and Space Force — as the dedicated Catholic group under the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.
