Our Lady Queen of Angels
Located in Keokea, Maui, off Kula Highway. The church is home to a first-class relic of Saint Faustina Kowalska, Apostle of the Divine Mercy. The church grounds offer space for prayer, reflection, and devotions, including an Outdoor Stations of the Cross, Immaculate Heart of Mary Grotto, Divine Mercy Grotto, and much more. The church and grounds are open to visitors throughout the week.
History
The church was built in 1940 to serve patients and residents of the nearby Kula Sanatorium. It became the parish church and residence for the pastor due to its central location and space. Holy Ghost Mission (1895) and Saint James the Less (1875) are older missions within the same community. The parish celebrated its 50th Jubilee in 1990.
