History
The parish traces its origins to the 1800s, beginning with land acquisition by Fr. Gabriel Richard in 1824. The first church was built in 1826, followed by multiple structures and pastors. Holy Cross Church was built in 1903, and the parish expanded through education and community organizations. The three sites — Holy Cross, St. Catherine, and St. Mark Chapel — were unified into one parish community.
