Our Lady of the Valley (OLV) is a Roman Catholic parish located on the northwest side of Phoenix, Arizona, within the Diocese of Phoenix. The parish is paired with neighboring St. Raphael Catholic Church in Glendale to form one united pastoral community serving worshipers across the two campuses. Identity & Pastoral Community with St. Raphael
Our Lady of the Valley in Phoenix and St. Raphael in Glendale are formally joined as one pastoral community within the Diocese of Phoenix. They share pastors, deacons, ministries, and administrative staff across both campuses. The parish's combined boundary stretches from West of I-17 and South of Bell Road, to East of the 101 and North of Cactus — described by the parish as 'freeway to freeway.' Any registered/active parishioner is supported no matter where they live in the valley, as long as staff can reach them when needed.

Sacraments
The parish shepherds Catholics through the full sacramental life — Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Reconciliation — supported by clergy and lay ministers. Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist for adults and children of catechetical age are handled through the OCIA process.

Parish Ministries & Faith Formation
Our Lady of the Valley maintains a full complement of ministries. Lay ministers bring Holy Communion to the homebound and to care facilities. OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) welcomes adults and children of catechetical age into the Catholic faith through prayer, study, and the support of a parish team. Adult Faith Formation gathers on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm in Hibner Hall at St. Raphael.
