Faith Formation & Religious Education
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart runs a Family Faith Formation program that educates children and teens from kindergarten through eleventh grade within the context of family life and the rich tradition of Catholic faith and morals. The parish also welcomes adults into year-round OCIA (the Order of Christians Initiation of Adults, the post-Vatican II successor to the old RCIA) and other ongoing adult formation tracks. Registrations open each year for both regular faith formation ($40) and sacramental years ($50), with a baptismal certificate required for students preparing for First Communion or Confirmation.

Sacraments at OLSH
The parish accompanies its people through all the sacraments. Deacon Angel Diaz coordinates baptism preparation, which requires a class beforehand and is celebrated on the first weekend of the month. Couples preparing for marriage are asked to contact Father Ryan as close to a year in advance as possible, and those seeking healing after a divorce are invited to begin the annulment process through an initial meeting with the pastor.
