Our Lady of the Lake Parish serves the communities of Edinboro, Cambridge Springs, and Saegertown in Pennsylvania, united under the patronage of Mary, St. Anthony of Padua, and St. Bernadette. Founded in 1953, the parish began as a mission chapel in the 1940s and now operates from three locations, offering Mass, sacraments, and ministries rooted in Catholic tradition. Our Mission
To worship God and promote holiness of life through the celebration of the Sacraments, the sharing of the Gospel, the promotion of Catholic values and the offering of pastoral care through ministries that provide faith formation, healing, spiritual growth, and social outreach to the diverse communities of Edinboro, Cambridge Springs and Saegertown.
Our Vision
Under the care and patronage of Mary the Mother of God, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Bernadette of Lourdes, we, the members of Our Lady of the Lake Parish strive to live our baptismal call to holiness of life. Responding to the grace of the Holy Spirit received in the sacraments, we seek to become more like Jesus Christ who leads us to the Eternal Father in Heaven.
Our Leadership
Led by Pastor Father Mark Hoffman and Deacon David Romanowicz, with support from the Pastoral Council and Finance Council, the parish is guided by the Holy Spirit, Pope Leo XIV, and Bishop Lawrence Persico.
Our History
Founded in 1953, the parish began as a mission chapel in 1949. The cornerstone was laid in 1950, and the church was blessed in 1951. A new church building was dedicated in 2007, and major renovations were completed in 2024.
