Our Lady of the Fields is a Roman Catholic parish in Millersville, Maryland, in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. With roots as a mission chapel of St. Mary's Annapolis dating to 1902, it became an independent parish in 1965 and has grown into a community of approximately 2,600 registered families. The parish is known for its robust sacramental schedule — four Sunday Masses, daily 6:00 am and 8:30 am Masses Monday through Friday, Saturday morning Mass, a Saturday Vigil, weekly Eucharistic Adoration in a dedicated chapel, and a livestreamed Sunday Mass on YouTube. Beyond its worship life, OLF runs a substantial network of outreach ministries (Breaking Bread with the Hungry, Sarah's House, SPAN, Walking with Moms in Need, Knights of Columbus), active youth and music programs, and co-sponsors the School of the Incarnation in Gambrills.

Our Lady of the Fields offers an unusually full sacramental schedule — four Sunday Masses plus daily morning Masses, a Saturday Vigil, weekly Saturday confessions, and Monday-through-Friday Eucharistic Adoration in its dedicated Adoration Chapel — making it easy to find a time to pray. The parish is large and active (around 2,600 registered families) and runs a deep bench of ministries for every stage of life: Children's Faith Formation, RCIA-style Becoming Catholic for adults and older children, Middle School EDGE and high school Young Apostles youth ministry (guided by LifeTeen), multiple choirs and music ensembles, and a strong outreach arm including Breaking Bread with the Hungry, Sarah's House, SPAN, Walking with Moms in Need, the Knights of Columbus, and Respect Life. OLF also co-sponsors the School of the Incarnation Catholic elementary school in nearby Gambrills.

Parish History
Our Lady of the Fields began in 1902 as St. Joseph's Mission of St. Mary's Annapolis. The Woodward family dedicated a sandstone memorial chapel in 1908 and Fr. Henry Urban offered the first Mass there on August 15, 1909. Originally titled 'St. Mary's, Millersville,' the church was renamed 'Our Lady of the Fields' to avoid confusion with the Annapolis parish. The Archdiocese of Baltimore elevated the mission to parish status in 1965 with Fr. Francis J. Linn as its first pastor. The current church, designed by Lucien Gaudreau and built by Stehle Brothers, was completed in December 1957 on fifteen acres donated by the Baldwin family.

Becoming Catholic & Faith Formation
The Office of Evangelization & Faith Formation coordinates preparation for Baptism, First Communion, First Reconciliation, Confirmation and the Christian Initiation of adults (RCIA) and older children. Children's Faith Formation classes and Vacation Bible School are also organized through this office.

Youth Ministry
Guided by LifeTeen, OLF Youth Ministry brings together young people in middle school and high school along with an Adult CORE Team of volunteers. High schoolers (grades 10–12) called 'Young Apostles' are mentored as Christ-like servant leaders; middle schoolers meet through the EDGE program. Youth also 'take over' the Sunday 5 pm Mass before Life Nights, serving as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, ushers and musicians.

Music Ministries
OLF's Music Ministry is organized around five ensembles serving the parish's Sunday Masses plus cantors for the Vigil. The adult choir, 'Cantate Domino,' ministers at the 9:30 am Mass from September through May. A youth ensemble leads the 5 pm Mass; the Folk Group serves the 11:30 am Mass; and a Children's Choir sings at various Sunday Masses.

Service & Community Outreach
Service to others is central to the parish's mission. OLF runs and supports a wide range of outreach ministries serving the poor and homeless of Baltimore, Anne Arundel County families in crisis, women facing unplanned pregnancies, moms and tots, and an international mission in Jamaica.

School of the Incarnation
In 2000 OLF joined with five local parishes to found a regional Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The School of the Incarnation, located on a 26-acre campus in nearby Gambrills, is fully accredited and now educates more than 800 students in grades K through 8 in a setting immersed in Gospel values.
