Parish History
Founded in 1906 as St. Mary’s, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, the parish began as a mission serving West Harrisburg. It was dedicated to the Mother of God and initially held services in rented rooms. The parish purchased land at Fifth, Maclay, and Atlas Streets, where a school and church were built in 1908. The parish later moved to its current location at Third and Woodbine Streets, and eventually to its current address at 2121 N. 3rd Street.
