Our Lady of the Americas (Misión Católica Nuestra Señora de las Américas) is a Spanish-language Catholic mission of the Archdiocese of Atlanta located at 4603 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia. Founded December 12, 1991, it was established to serve the growing immigrant Hispanic community of metro Atlanta — particularly families from Mexico, Central and South America — offering daily Mass in Spanish, religious education, social services and cultural accompaniment. The parish currently celebrates eight Masses per week, broadcasts its liturgies live on YouTube, hosts the archdiocese's Hispanic Catholic radio program Nuestra Fe from its building, and is in the middle of a major new-temple construction project that will expand seating from about 450 to roughly 1,300 people.

Our Lady of the Americas is the spiritual home of a vibrant, mostly immigrant Hispanic community in metro Atlanta, with up to nine Spanish-language Masses a week, an extensive religious-education program for children and families, livestreamed Masses for those who cannot attend in person, and ongoing accompaniment through social services. It is also the Atlanta anchor of the Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros and the broadcast home of the Nuestra Fe Catholic radio program on La Bonita 610 AM. Anyone who wants to worship in Spanish, raise their children in the faith alongside other Latino families, and be part of an actively growing parish building a much larger new temple would feel right at home here.

History of the Mission
Our Lady of the Americas was officially founded on December 12, 1991, after several years of grassroots ministry by Hispanic Cursillo members, two Franciscan friars from Mexico, and Sisters Pilar Dalmau and Carmín Macías. The community worshipped in increasingly tight quarters — first a warehouse basement in 1989, then a New Peachtree Road warehouse in 1992 — before Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory helped the mission acquire its current eight-acre campus on Lawrenceville Highway in 2006.
- 1989 — First Sunday Mass celebrated in the basement of a food store on Shallowford Road.
- 1992 — Congregation moves to a warehouse on New Peachtree Road and adds a job bank and English classes.
- December 12, 1991 — Mission officially established.
- June 23, 2006 — First Mass celebrated at the current 4603 Lawrenceville Highway campus.
- September 16, 2006 — Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory dedicates the new building.
- 2019–2021 — Religious Education Building and Parish Offices built and inaugurated.
- 2025–onward — Construction of a new, larger temple (capacity ~1,300).
Faith Formation and Religious Education
Religious education is one of the mission's signature ministries. The program serves hundreds of children each year under Director of Religious Education Leonardo Jaramillo. A dedicated Religious Education and Parish Offices building, inaugurated in 2021, gave the program the classrooms and gathering space it had lacked for decades.

Nuestra Fe Catholic Broadcasting
From a converted choir loft inside the mission, the nonprofit Nuestra Fe Catholic Broadcasting Inc. produces a daily Spanish-language Catholic radio program serving metro Atlanta and listeners worldwide. The live Mass from the mission is broadcast each Sunday on La Bonita 610 AM, and a shorter Sunday reflection airs on La Mejor 1600 / 1460 / 1130 AM.

Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros and Milagro Móvil
The mission has been the Atlanta home of the Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros (Lord of Miracles Brotherhood) for nearly three decades, hosting the annual October procession. During the COVID-19 pandemic the brotherhood launched Milagro Móvil, a trailer-borne pilgrimage that brings the image of El Señor de los Milagros to homes from Dalton to Peachtree City, with prayer, consecration and the blessing of homes.

New Temple Construction Project
After inaugurating the Religious Education building in 2021, the mission is taking its next major step: construction of a new church building on the same Lawrenceville Highway campus. The new temple will dramatically expand worship capacity to keep pace with a still-growing congregation.
