Outreach & Community Service
Our Lady of Tahoe operates a parish Outreach Program whose stated mission is 'to make sure our local families have food for their families.' Parish Building & Facilities
Through its active Building Fund, Our Lady of Tahoe is currently investing in the upkeep of its mountain-lakeside campus. Recent and ongoing capital projects include replacing the church's front doors, rebuilding and enlarging the front porch (currently stalled pending Tahoe Regional Planning Agency / TRPA review), replacing outdated light fixtures in the church and parish hall, removing dead and dying trees from the parking lot, refreshing the upstairs offices (new carpet, electrical outlets and switches, baseboards, light fixtures, and repainting), and repairing the rear emergency exit off the upstairs library. Much of the labor for these improvements has been donated by volunteer parishioners.
