History
Originally a mission of Holy Angels, the parish became independent in 1925 as St. Maximus Parish under Fr. James Donohoe. It was renamed Our Lady of Perpetual Help in 1929. The church underwent remodeling in 1969 and 2010, and suffered a major fire in 1992 that destroyed its interior. The parish has maintained its traditions and community spirit while expanding its ministries and cultural celebrations.
