Our Parish History
The parish was officially established on Sunday, September 24, 1922, when the first Mass was celebrated. Over the past 100 years, it has remained an active and growing community, continuing its mission to love and serve parishioners and the broader Schenectady area.
Our Festa
The official feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is July 16th. The annual FESTA is a three-day event, always held on the weekend closest to that date on the parish grounds. It continues to be a very special time for parishioners, their families, friends, and the entire Schenectady community.
