Faith Formation & Religious Education

Religious education at the mission is coordinated through the Administrator of Faith Formation, currently Maria Huerta, in partnership with St. Francis Xavier Parish. The mission offers a Sunday School program for children. The wider St. Francis Xavier faith formation program — which serves the mission community — provides Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation, as well as RCIA for adults and children, Vacation Bible School, and a free pre-kindergarten catechesis program.

Because Our Lady of Guadalupe is a mission church of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Live Oak, its sacramental records, faith formation registration, RCIA, and pastoral care are coordinated through the parish office there.
