History

The Doral Mission was established in 1999 to serve the growing Catholic community in the unincorporated Dade County area of Doral. The first Mass was held in August 1999 at John Smith Elementary School cafeteria. By 2001, the mission became Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish under the leadership of Msgr. Tomas Marin. In 2010, Rev. Israel E. Mago became Parish Administrator and later Pastor. The parish has grown to serve over 7,000 families and plans to build a permanent church on prepared land.

Ministries & Groups

The parish offers a wide range of ministries and groups to support spiritual growth and community building. These include Bible Studies, Boy & Girl Scouts, Children's Rosary, Cursillo Movement, Emmaus, Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Rosary, Knight of Columbus, Marriage Retreats, Music, Mission for the Love of God, Rosa Mistica, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and Talleres de Oracion.

Sacraments

The parish offers all seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. The parish emphasizes the importance of frequent participation in the sacraments as a means of growing in the love of God and the Church.
