Our Lady of Grace/Queen of Heaven Parish is a Roman Catholic community in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, centered at Our Lady of Grace Church within the Diocese of Scranton. Its roots stretch back to the city's Italian Catholic heritage, and today it serves as a vibrant, bilingual home for English- and Spanish-speaking families. On July 1, 2025, Queen of Heaven Parish was canonically consolidated with Most Precious Blood Parish to form Our Lady of Peace Parish, while Our Lady of Grace Church remains an active worship site. The parish celebrates the sacraments, supports family life, and invites all to grow in faith together.

Parish History
Our Lady of Grace grew from St. Nazarius and St. Mary's parishes, which merged into Our Lady of Grace and later became Queen of Heaven Parish. In the Diocese of Scranton's 2009 restructuring, Our Lady of Grace Church was designated the worship site of Queen of Heaven Parish.
Consolidation into Our Lady of Peace Parish
Effective July 1, 2025, Queen of Heaven Parish and Most Precious Blood Parish consolidated to form Our Lady of Peace Parish. Reverend Anthony J. Generose, who had been pastor of both parishes, was appointed pastor of the new consolidated parish, with Reverend Shawn M. Simchock as assistant pastor.
