Why belong here

Our Lady of Grace is a small but welcoming Catholic mission where neighbors in rural Weld County come together as a single parish family. It offers the full rhythm of Catholic sacramental life — daily and Sunday Mass in both English and Spanish, Saturday confessions, Adoration in the Emmaus Chapel, and the Holy Rosary before Sunday Mass — all in an intimate community setting. Because it is served by St. William Parish in Fort Lupton, new parishioners have access to bilingual clergy, deacons, faith formation volunteers, and the larger fellowship of a sister parish just minutes away.

Parish History

Our Lady of Grace was established as a Catholic mission in 1978 to serve the rural farming families of Wattenberg and the surrounding countryside in Weld County. Because of its small size, it has always been served by the priests of St. William Catholic Church in nearby Fort Lupton, rather than by a resident priest of its own. The mission has grown into a bilingual community welcoming English- and Spanish-speaking Catholics, and in 2021 Archbishop Samuel J. Aquilina renewed Fr. Grzegorz Wojcik for another six-year term as pastor of St. William parish and Our Lady of Grace.

Clergy, Deacons, and Staff

Our Lady of Grace shares its pastoral team with St. William Parish in Fort Lupton. The current pastor and parochial vicar oversee both communities, assisted by two deacons and lay staff including a Director of Religious Education team and a parish secretary.
