Our Lady of Good Help is a Roman Catholic parish in Hoquiam, Washington, in the Grays Harbor region of the Archdiocese of Seattle. Formally established in 1906, it is one of the older Catholic congregations on Washington's Pacific coast and today serves the Hoquiam community along with its sister mission, Our Lady of the Olympics in Amanda Park. The parish worships in a striking 1910 Prairie-style church designed by the short-lived Seattle firm Willatzen and Byrne — the firm's first Catholic church commission — and is currently part of the Archdiocese's Partners in the Gospel Parish Family 48. Worshippers gather for a Saturday Vigil Mass, a Sunday morning Mass, and two weekday noon Masses, with Confession and Eucharistic Adoration preceding the vigil.

History of Our Lady of Good Help
In the late 1800s Hoquiam was regarded as a mission of Aberdeen, with Mass celebrated at a number of private residences. The parish was formally established in 1906 with a small church on 4th Street; the rectory followed in 1907, and the present — and architecturally notable — church building was constructed in 1910–1911. The 1920s brought rapid growth, with a parochial school in 1920 and a convent in 1924, followed by a parish hall/gymnasium in 1960. The school closed in 1971, and after serving as a religious education center the building was demolished and replaced by today's parish hall/lounge. The Redemptorists began serving the parish and the Quinault Indian mission/resort in 1973. The 1910 church was renovated in 1990, and today the parish is part of the Archdiocese of Seattle's Partners in the Gospel Parish Family 48.

The 1910 Church Building
The present church was designed by the short-lived Seattle partnership of Andrew C.P. Willatzen and Francis Barry Byrne and constructed in 1910. According to the Pacific Coast Architecture Database, its design prominently features a tower topped by a jerkinhead gable roof and a nave lit by dormers, each covered by a jerkinhead gable. Scholars note that this appears to be Francis Barry Byrne's first Catholic church commission, anticipating his celebrated later career in ecclesiastical architecture. The building was renovated in 1990 and remains the worship heart of the parish.
