About Our Lady of Belen Chapel · Miami, Florida
Our Lady of Belen Chapel is a 14,000-square-foot sacred space on the campus of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in western Miami-Dade County. Dedicated on May 1, 2022, by Archbishop Thomas Wenski, the chapel seats 638 and serves as the spiritual heart of the school, expressing Belen’s Catholic, Jesuit identity in visible form. It is also the Sunday home of the Holy Face of Jesus Latin Mass Chaplaincy, an FSSP apostolate that celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass at 10:00 AM with a preceding Rosary at 9:30 AM.

Sacred Art and Architecture
The chapel blends a lateral-chapel design common in western Europe with a concert-hall structure. The six-by-ten proportional scheme reflects classical Greek aesthetics. Inside the nave, ten side niches feature paintings of Jesuit saints from North and Latin America by Raúl Berzosa, while Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Saint Francis Xavier are depicted near the sanctuary.

Use of the Chapel
The chapel is primarily reserved for school Masses and special ceremonies of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. The Sunday Latin Mass is celebrated by the Holy Face of Jesus Latin Mass Chaplaincy of the FSSP.
