History
In 1970, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Annunciation became the Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation, no longer a mission of St. Mary's Church in Glens Falls. A pastor was introduced and a parish council formed. The parish grew from 150 families in 1963 to 1,350 in 1989, prompting expansions including a parish center in 1977 and an education wing in 1989. The parish continues to grow and flourish in Queensbury.
