Our Lady Help of Christians Mission in Antonino, Kansas, was established in 1905 by German Catholic settlers who had migrated from Russia and were too far from the original parish in Munjor to regularly attend Mass. The community donated land and money to build the church, and Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia served as teachers from 1907 until 1974. Capuchin Fathers have served the parish since its founding. The mission is part of the Catholic Diocese of Salina and continues to offer Mass, confession, and community services in a rural setting.

History
Founded in 1905 by German Catholics who had settled in Ellis County since 1876. Antonino was chosen as the name because Anthony was already in use in Kansas, and it honored St. Anthony. Six settlers donated land for the church and cemetery, and each family contributed $5 per member. Sisters of St. Joseph arrived in 1907 to teach, first in a public school and later in a parochial school. They were employed by the public school district in 1939 and left in 1974. A new church and rectory were built in 1952. Capuchin Fathers have served the parish since its inception.
