Nativity of Our Lord is a Roman Catholic parish and school in Broomfield, Colorado, founded in 1958 and now serving about 2,800 families in the North Metro Denver area. The parish and school are under the pastoral care of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Charles Borromeo (Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo), which was invited by the Archdiocese of Denver to take pastoral leadership in 2009. Parish History
Nativity of Our Lord was established in 1958 for 179 Broomfield families, with the first Mass celebrated in the basement of the Empire Savings & Loan building on September 7. Groundbreaking for the church took place in 1960, and the first Mass in the red-brick church was offered at midnight on Christmas Day, 1960. The school opened in September 1963 with the Sisters of Mercy; it was later served by Dominican and Franciscan sisters starting in 1981. In 2009, the Archdiocese of Denver invited the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Charles Borromeo to take pastoral leadership of the parish and school. Today the parish is led by Fr. Emanuele Fadini, F.S.C.B., who succeeded Fr. Michael Carvill, F.S.C.B. on July 1, 2023.

Mass and Liturgical Schedule
Daily Mass is offered Monday through Friday at 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, with a Saturday morning Mass at 9:30 AM and the Anticipatory Vigil Mass on Saturday at 4:30 PM. Sunday Masses are celebrated at 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 5:00 PM. A livestream of the daily 9:30 AM Mass is offered especially for the sick and homebound. Holy Day Masses are at 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 7:00 PM, with a Vigil Mass at 7:00 PM the evening before.

Nativity: Faith & Reason Catholic School
Founded in 1963 with the Sisters of Mercy, the parish school now serves over 400 children from preschool through eighth grade as Nativity: Faith & Reason Catholic School, under the pastoral care of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo. The school's stated mission is to form saints and scholars who impact the world with gospel values, partnering with parents to build a community of faith and academic excellence.

Faith Formation & Youth Ministry
The Faith Alive Department (303-731-0425) oversees formation programs for children, youth, and adults. Programs use a hands-on, scripture- and tradition-based curriculum and span early childhood through high school, including a Catholic young-adult community.

Music and Liturgy
The Nativity Music Ministry directs 13 different ensembles providing music for five weekend Masses, as well as feast days, holy days, and special events throughout the year. The parish has a tradition of presenting classical sacred works (e.g., Mozart and Haydn Masses) with a professional orchestra and guest soloists for major feasts such as Pentecost and Corpus Christi.

Visiting the Sick and Homebound
Parishioners who are sick or homebound and cannot attend Sunday Mass regularly can arrange a visit from a priest or a Eucharistic Minister, and daily 9:30 AM Mass is livestreamed for those unable to be present. Anointing of the Sick is available by appointment through the Front Desk.

Parish Life and Community
Beyond Mass and formation, the parish offers social and recreational traditions that knit the community together, including an annual parish festival and a long-running men's softball league.
