Parish History
Catholic life in Fowler reaches back to 1857, when Fr. George Godez of St. Mary's Westphalia rode out to serve the area's Catholics every four months. After Father Godez retired from his missionary tours, Rev. Peter DeSmedt of Hubbardston stepped in. In 1878, John N. and Elizabeth Fowler donated land on the condition a 35-by-65-foot frame church with spire be built within three years. Builder Henry J. Goerge was hired in May 1881, the structure was completed December 3, 1881, and blessed December 27, 1881. To settle a dispute between Irish and German founders, temporary pastor Fr. Ronayne named the church Most Holy Trinity, with its titular feast fixed for Trinity Sunday. A larger brick church followed in 1917, and parish-school history notes the current church building was completed in 1945 (with a fire in 1948 destroying an earlier structure). The founding Irish and German heritage is honored today by statues of St. Patrick and St. Boniface on the main altar.

Faith Formation for All Ages
MHT presents faith formation as a relationship with the Living God rather than a program, leaning on Pope Benedict XVI's line that 'Life is being in relationship with God.' The parish offers age-appropriate formation for children, youth, and adults, with regular encounter events such as Mass, Reconciliation, adoration, Praise & Worship, the Living Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and devotionals.
