About Most Holy Trinity Parish
Founded in 1834, Most Holy Trinity Parish has served the people of Detroit for over 180 years. It is home to America’s oldest free medical clinic and a K–8 Catholic school. The parish has a long tradition of service to the poor and vulnerable, including a food pantry, clothing room, Christmas food baskets, Thanksgiving meals for the homeless, and youth programs. It is located in Corktown, Detroit’s oldest neighborhood.
Sacraments and Celebrations
The parish offers Baptisms on the third Sunday of the month (in Spanish at 9am, English at 11am), First Communion and Confirmation preparation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Weddings, Funerals, and Quinceañeras (Saturdays at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.).
Ministries and Outreach
The parish offers Youth Ministry, Young Adults programs, Faith Formation, and extensive outreach to the poor and vulnerable, including a food pantry, clothing room, Christmas party for underprivileged children, Thanksgiving meal for the homeless, and more.
