Lingle Chapel: Where the Community Gathers
The Sunday Catholic Mass is celebrated in Lingle Chapel, a smaller worship space adjoining the Davidson College Presbyterian Church on Main Street at the front of campus. The chapel seats about 150 and is home to an Ott organ. It is named for Walter L. Lingle, Davidson College Class of 1892 and college president from 1929 to 1941. Until the early 1970s, Davidson students attended mandatory daily chapel in this space; today it is shared with the Presbyterian congregation and other denominations, and is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for prayer and meditation.

Diocese and Partner Parishes
