Infant Jesus of Prague is a small Roman Catholic mission church serving the foothill community of Tollhouse, California, in the Sierra Nevada range east of Clovis. It is administered by Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Clovis and forms part of the Diocese of Fresno. The mission gathers the surrounding mountain community for a single Saturday evening Vigil Mass at 6:00 PM and is reached at 32054 Whispering Springs Lane in Tollhouse. As one of two mission communities under Divine Mercy (the other being Shaver Lake Community Chapel), it brings the Eucharist to Catholics in the Tollhouse/Auberry/Prather foothills who would otherwise have to travel down the mountain for Sunday worship.

About Infant Jesus of Prague Mission
Infant Jesus of Prague is a Roman Catholic mission church serving Tollhouse, California, and the surrounding Sierra foothills, including Auberry and Prather. It is part of the Diocese of Fresno and is administered by Divine Mercy Catholic Church in nearby Clovis. The mission gathers the local mountain community for one weekly Saturday Vigil Mass celebrated in English at 6:00 PM at 32054 Whispering Springs Lane.
History & Relationship to Divine Mercy Parish
The mission was originally served by Holy Spirit Parish in Fresno. According to Holy Spirit's own published history: 'For a time, Holy Spirit Church also served two missions communities in our foothill and mountain areas. Infant Jesus of Prague in Tollhouse and the community at Shaver Lake. The missions were later assigned to Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Clovis.' Divine Mercy itself began as a mission of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish on November 21, 2010, and was formally established as a parish on May 15, 2016 under Bishop Armando X. Ochoa. Its boundaries stretch from Clovis east to Sanger, Shaver Lake, and Prather — the same territory that includes Infant Jesus of Prague.

Because Infant Jesus of Prague is a mission of Divine Mercy Parish, it is cared for by Divine Mercy's pastor and staff. The current pastor is Rev. Michael Cox. Deacon Rev. Sacraments
Sacramental preparation is coordinated through the Divine Mercy Parish office in Clovis. Families and adults preparing for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, or Marriage contact Jean Caiazza. RCIA inquiries go to Gary Musso. Reconciliation is heard before the Saturday Vigil Mass at the mission and by appointment at the parish office.

Faith Formation & Religious Education (CCD)
Religious Education for the children of mission families is run through Divine Mercy Parish, which offers CCD classes including a Pre-School & Kindergarten program. On May 7, 2023, Divine Mercy celebrated its then-largest First Communion class to date (41 students), prepared by pastor Fr. Michael Cox — a sign of the parish's growth as it builds toward its first permanent worship space.

Building Our Home of Spirit and Life (Capital Campaign)
Although Infant Jesus of Prague itself is a small mountain mission, its parent parish Divine Mercy is in the middle of a major building project. The parish has worshipped at Clovis East High School's multi-purpose room since 2010 and is now raising funds and beginning construction of its first permanent church, classrooms, and offices through the 'Building Our Home of Spirit and Life' capital campaign. A Steier Group-led study helped the parish raise an additional $1.7 million on top of $3.7 million already saved.
