Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish is one of three worship sites in the newly merged St. Crescent Parish in Galesburg, Illinois, serving the Catholic community under the Diocese of Peoria. It hosts weekend Masses on Sunday at 11:00 AM and Saturday at 4:00 PM, along with daily Masses on Monday and Friday at 8:15 AM. The parish is part of a three-year implementation plan to consolidate parishes, with Fr. Jeffrey Stirniman and Fr. Christopher Magesa serving as pastor and parochial vicar, respectively. The parish also offers Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays and hosts ministries for men, women, and families, including St. Vincent de Paul and Costa Catholic Academy.

Growing Disciples
The parish is part of a three-year implementation plan to merge with St. Patrick and Corpus Christi into one parish. Fr. Jeffrey Stirniman and Fr. Christopher Magesa serve as pastor and parochial vicar, respectively, effective July 1, 2024. The merger includes St. Patrick, St. James, and St. Aloysius, with St. Patrick, Corpus Christi, and Immaculate Heart of Mary as worship sites. The process will continue over the next three years.
Worship
Masses are held on weekends and weekdays at three campuses: Immaculate Heart of Mary, Corpus Christi, and St. Patrick. Daily Masses include Communion Services on Mondays and Fridays at 8:15 AM at IHM, and 12:10 PM at Corpus Christi on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Eucharistic Adoration is offered on Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick and at the IHM chapel.
Ministries
The parish offers active ministries for men and women, including St. Vincent de Paul, Women’s Ministries, and Men’s Ministries. These groups support parishioners in living out their faith through service and community.
