Immaculate Conception Church is one of three parishes that make up the West Side Tri-Parishes in San Antonio, Texas, sharing resources and ministries with Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine and St. Alphonsus Church. It serves the local community with bilingual Masses and a variety of sacramental programs. The parish is part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and is staffed by Franciscan Friars who serve as pastor and parochial vicar. It emphasizes evangelization, justice, and respect for human dignity through its mission and ministries.

Mission Statement

The community of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church takes as its mission to know, to love, and to serve Jesus. To build a community of believers, to speak and act for the victims of injustice, to evangelize, and to respect the dignity in all people—beginning in our own families, and then in the wider culture in which we live.

Sacraments

The parish offers full sacramental preparation including Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage, and Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).

Ministries

Ministries include Religious Education for children and teens, OCIA for adults, vocation discernment, and pastoral care for the sick and those preparing for marriage.
