Why belong here
Immaculate Conception is a welcoming bilingual parish where families can worship in either English or Spanish at any weekend Mass, and small enough that staff and priests know parishioners by name. It offers daily Mass three days a week, weekly confession, Eucharistic Adoration including a monthly Hora Santa, and the parish community also ministers to St. Peter's Mission Church in Booker so that Catholics across Ochiltree and Lipscomb counties have a local parish home. About Immaculate Conception Parish
Immaculate Conception is a bilingual Roman Catholic parish in Perryton, Texas, in the Diocese of Amarillo. Parish History
Established in 1946 during the post-war growth of the Diocese of Amarillo under Bishop Laurence J. FitzSimon, Immaculate Conception grew alongside Perryton, a Panhandle agricultural and oil town. The bilingual character of the parish — celebrated today in its everyday schedule — is rooted in the broader Hispanic settlement of the Texas Panhandle cities and farm towns in that era. The parish has since grown to include mission outreach to St. Peter's in Booker.
