About/Contact
The Holy Redeemer and Immaculate Conception Collaborative was created in 2015 in the Archdiocese of Boston. It unites two parishes — Holy Redeemer and Immaculate Conception — with three churches: St. Ann in West Newbury, Nativity in Merrimac, and Immaculate Conception in Newburyport. The collaborative serves the Catholic population across four neighboring towns, offering shared pastoral care, liturgical ministries, and community outreach programs.
Our Staff
The parish is led by a team of clergy including Rev. Timothy Harrison (Pastor), Rev. George Morin, Rev. Charles Stanley, Dcn John Moranski, and Dcn Paul Dow. Administrative and support staff include Dennis LaMalfa (Business Manager), Christine Breslow (Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper), Melinda Burrell (Administrative Assistant), Karen Leff (Coordinator of Media Outreach), Aaron Giard (Director, Lifelong Faith Formation), and others.
Sacraments
Sacraments are celebrated at the HRIC Collaborative, including Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Reconciliation, and Anointing of the Sick. Baptisms are held on the second Sunday of the month at 11:00 a.m. (summer) or 11:30 a.m. (winter) at Immaculate Conception Church, or on the second Saturday outside of Mass.
Faith Formation
Faith formation is offered for all ages, including Adult Faith Formation, Grades K-1 & 3-7, and sacrament preparation for Grade 2 (Baptism) and Grade 8 (Confirmation). Registration forms are available for Grades K-8.
Ministries
The parish offers a wide range of ministries including St. Vincent de Paul, Alcoholics Anonymous, Prayer Shawl, Sandwich Program, Scouting, Knights of Columbus, Consolers Circle, Haiti Outreach, Local Food Pantries & Markets, Communion Calls, Pelican Intervention Fund, Adoration, Rosary Recitation, Women at the Well, Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, FORMED, and Online Giving.
