Sangre de Cristo Parish, located in San Luis, Colorado, is a historic Catholic community rooted in the faith of the Pobladores and generations of faithful priests and nuns who served Costilla County. Established in 1881, the parish has grown into a vibrant spiritual center with a mission to offer peace, justice, and truth through worship and service. The parish includes mission churches and reflects the enduring faith of families who have lived in the region for generations. It is currently led by Father Emmanuel Ayodeji Alao, Administrator, and supported by staff including Rebecca Romero, Parish Secretary/Bookkeeper.
