History
The parish was erected in 1945 to serve Catholic families in the rural Dupont area. Over the decades it has remained a small but active community, traditionally sharing clergy with Mater Dolorosa Church in Plaucheville. The church building is currently undergoing repairs, so the parish office has been temporarily relocated to Mater Dolorosa in Plaucheville, and Mass for Immaculate Conception parishioners is being celebrated there on Sundays at 11:00 am until the Dupont church is restored.
