History of the Mission
Holy Trinity was established as a mission church to serve Catholic families in and around Urich in northern Henry County. For decades it has been shepherded alongside other small parishes in the area. By the early 1980s it was being jointly served with St. Patrick's in Holden, and later its pastoral care was assumed by Our Lady of Lourdes in Harrisonville. The diocesan directory continues to list Holy Trinity as a mission of Our Lady of Lourdes, sharing the same pastor, staff, and pastoral resources.
