Holy Trinity Church is one of two historic worship sites of Christ Our Savior Parish in Struthers, Ohio, part of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. The parish traces its origins to 1907, when 103 Slovak immigrant families in the Mahoning Valley steel towns founded a community to serve their spiritual needs closer to home. Their Bridge Street church was dedicated on December 7, 1910, and has remained a center of Slovak Catholic life ever since, joined with neighboring St. Nicholas Church in 2011 under the combined Christ Our Savior Parish. Today, Holy Trinity hosts the parish's Sunday 8:00 a.m. Mass and operates the community food pantry, continuing the immigrant-founded tradition of welcome, service, and faith.

History of Holy Trinity Church
Holy Trinity Church traces its origins to 1907, when 103 Slovak Catholic families in Struthers — most of them drawn to the Mahoning Valley by the iron and steel mills — petitioned the Bishop of Cleveland for a parish of their own. Until then they had traveled about five miles to SS. Cyril and Methodius Church. The cornerstone was laid on October 7, 1907 and the new church on Bridge Street was dedicated on December 7, 1910. A school opened the same year, first staffed by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, then by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity of Pittsburgh because they were more familiar with the Slovak language. By the 25th anniversary in 1932, the parish had produced eleven Vincentian Sisters and three Humility of Mary Sisters.

- 1985: Rev. Stephen Karas launches 3R Capital Campaign to renovate the church.
- 1991: Holy Trinity School closes.
- July 1, 2011: Holy Trinity merges with St. Nicholas to form Christ Our Savior Parish.
Worship and Sacraments
Holy Trinity Church serves as one of two worship sites of Christ Our Savior Parish, hosting the Sunday 8:00 a.m. Mass in English. Weekday Masses are celebrated at St. Nicholas Church (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m.), with the Saturday Vigil at 4:00 p.m. also at St. Nicholas. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered by appointment — parishioners are asked to call the parish office to schedule.

Parish Staff
Christ Our Savior Parish is led by Rev. Thomas Kraszewski, who simultaneously pastors Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Lowellville and Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Campbell. Rev. Bernard R. Bonnot serves as Pastor Emeritus. Permanent Deacon John V. Terranova assists at the parish, Gerald (Jerry) Land is Director of Religious Education, and Matthew L. White is Director of Music. The parish office team includes a school principal at St. Nicholas School and several office staff handling payroll, bulletins, billing, fundraising and the scrip program.

Outreach and Charity
Outreach is central to the parish's identity. The parish food pantry — located at Holy Trinity Church itself — is sponsored by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and is open to anyone in need. Parish Nurses organize an annual coat and food drive and the Christmas Giving Tree, while the homebound ministry brings Communion to those who cannot attend Mass. Annual fundraisers include bingo three times a week, the St. Nicholas Festival, dinners and picnics, Night at the Races, pirohy (pierogi) sales, and 300 Clubs.
