Why belong here
Holy Trinity of SE Warren County is a small, family-sized Catholic community where one priest cares personally for the Mass-attending families of several rural towns — Lacona, Milo, and St. Marys. Weekday Mass is offered twice a week, Saturday evening Mass in Lacona and Sunday morning Mass in Milo make weekly worship easy, and Eucharistic Adoration follows Thursday morning Mass at St. Augustine in Milo. A parish religious-education program (led by Beverly Schurman) sees to the formation of the parish's children, and the parish shares a single office manager (Sarah Gehringer) with its sister community at Immaculate Conception, so newcomers and visitors quickly get to know a real person on the other end of the phone.

History and Founding
Holy Trinity Church of Southeast Warren County, Iowa was formally incorporated under Iowa law on September 24, 1915, an effective date that remains the corporation's official founding record with the Iowa Secretary of State. Over a century later the parish still operates from the same Lacona address (304 North Washington Avenue) that appears on its incorporation papers. Through the 20th century Holy Trinity grew into the spiritual home of Catholic farming families across southeastern Warren County, took on pastoral responsibility for the mission church of St. Augustine in Milo, and was eventually twinned administratively with Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Marys. No formal anniversary publication, list of founding parishioners, or roster of past pastors was found online, so most of the parish's interior history lives in local memory and diocesan archives rather than on the web.
- Incorporated September 24, 1915, as a Revised Domestic Non-Profit (Corp. #080764)
- Iowa Secretary of State registered agents historically included Dean Nimerichter of Lacona and, most recently, diocesan chancellor Jason Kurth in Des Moines
- Shares its modern pastorate with Immaculate Conception Parish, St. Marys
