Holy Trinity Parish is a Catholic community of 167 families in Marshfield, Missouri, the seat of Webster County. Founded in 1892 around settlers drawn to southwestern Missouri by the Frisco Railroad, the parish was first served by Springfield priests and then Benedictine fathers, becoming an independent parish in 1908. The present church was constructed in 1959 and dedicated on June 12, 1960 by Bishop Charles Helmsing. Today the parish, part of the Diocese of Springfield–Cape Girardeau, celebrates daily and weekend Mass, runs a Parish School of Religion (PSR), and is active in local outreach including a St. Vincent de Paul Society, food-pantry support and ecumenical service.

Parish History
Holy Trinity grew from a handful of Catholic families worshipping in an upstairs room on the Marshfield public square in the early 1890s to a flourishing parish of 167 families today. The original 1892 church — built by parishioners who hauled rocks from their own farms — was a wooden frame structure later covered with stucco, and served as a mission of the Benedictine Fathers of St. Joseph Parish in Springfield until 1908. After the Diocese of Springfield–Cape Girardeau was formed in 1956, the parish constructed the present church, which was dedicated June 12, 1960 by Bishop Charles Helmsing.
